WE Must be Dreaming

we call ourselves mature, where we actually act like more than a kid;
we call ourselves professionals, where we behave as if we haven't stepped in grade school doorsteps;
we call ourselves a friend to many, where in fact we are one of the enemies.

we believe we're good, but failed to realize we have done nothing that is great;
we believe we're doing the right thing, but never have known what the policies are;
we believe we're following the right path, but do not understand where we're going to.

we have faith in ourselves to lead, but no one wants to follow;
we have faith in ourselves to say nothing but the truth, but our words become a lie;
we have faith in ourselves to reach the point, but got lost at the middle.

we think we're settled while solutions are yet to be formulated;
we think we're done, while we are still hardly to take the first step;
we think we can win the battle, unarmed.

WE may be holy but living in hypocrisy. /written by reymund b. flores. copyright 2011
